Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 gives you a general right to view recorded information held by Derby Homes.
The Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004 provide public access to environmental information held by public authorities.
We are obligated under the Freedom of Information Act to publish information in our Publication Scheme. You may want to check the Publication scheme prior to making an Freedom Of Information request in case we have already published the information you are looking for.
The Freedom Of Information Act covers almost any information we produce that isn't personal data. Requests for personal information are covered by the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018. These are known as Subject Access Requests (SAR).
If you are unhappy with how your request has been handled you can request an Internal Review, if you are still unhappy after this stage you can complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
For further queries or to email your request, use [email protected]. You can also call us and ask for the Governance Services Team.
