Customer engagement
Customer engagement is about listening to the views of people that are receiving Derby Homes services, and responding to ensure we deliver the services customers need.
As a customer, you can make a vital contribution to Derby Homes by helping shape how we deliver our services. There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved, depending on how much of a commitment you’re able to make.
If you think you can make an ongoing commitment, why not join our Operational Board or Customer Voice group - you can help us review and approve services for tenants to ensure that they are designed with customers in mind.
Alternatively, our "Your Service, Your Say" Consultations are intended to get your views on a specific service or policy. If you’ve got spare few minutes, why not see what we’re currently consulting on and if you can offer us any help?
You can also organise your own event at one of our community rooms. If you’re a tenant who pays a service charge then you have the right to use the room for free! Get in touch with our Customer Engagement Team to find out more about our community rooms, and what activities we have taking place there.
Don’t have the skills or confidence?
Don’t worry. We work closely with partners such as Community Action Derby who can offer you advice, support and free training to increase your confidence and skills.
Trainings they offer cover topics such as:
- Introduction to managing a group
- Managing your group money
- Introduction to fundraising
