Derby United Credit Union
Credit unions are co-operative non profit making saving and loan societies. They are member-owned and controlled by a board of directors, elected by its members. Members are provided with a safe, convenient place to save and borrow at an excellent rate. Credit unions exist to benefit their members, not to make a profit.
Derby United Credit Union is open to anyone who lives or works in Derby.
You can contact Derby United Credit Union on 01332 369641 or email them at derby.cu@btconnect.com. You can join the credit union regardless of your age, whether you are working, or claiming benefits, whether you own your home or rent your home from a private or social landlord.

Open Surgery at Eagle Centre Market
DUCU has an office at stall 10D in the Derby Eagle Centre Market. This stall is open from 10am to 2pm every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. (excluding bank holidays)
Volunteers needed
Volunteers are needed to help run the stall in the Eagle Centre Market. This a great opportunity to get some experience of working with and helping other people. You will:
· talk to people and explain the benefits of the credit union
· help complete application forms for new members
· check accounts for existing members on the computer
With experience you will progress to taking cash payments for savings and loan repayments. Full training will be given on the credit union and the computer system. Additional training is also available and full support will be given throughout.
