Parking Permits
Parking Permit Schemes
Parking Permit schemes were introduced as a result of numerous complaints from residents who were unable to park in their own parking spaces because of misuse by people who did not reside there. The car parks were being abused by commuters who were using the City Centre locations to park there all day which restricted use by residents.
Some car park areas also were being misused for criminal activity and we introduced these Parking Permits Schemes to put a stop to those activities. We worked with tenants and leaseholders to find a satisfactory solution and invited several companies to see how they would operate such a scheme. Vehicle Control Services were selected as being the best company that were sensitive to the issues facing our customers.
The Parking Permit Schemes are located in the following areas.
