Religion and Belief Regulations Policy and Procedure
This policy applies to all Derby Homes' employees. It explains the meaning of religion or belief with reference to the regulation.The policy defines:
- direct discrimination
- indirect discrimination
- genuine occupational requirement
- harassment
- victimisation.
The policy also gives advice on:
- religious observance in the workplace
- the implication of religion and belief on recruitment and promotion
- the implication of religion and belief for training
- religious belief and food
- time off for religious festivals
- time off for religious observance
- dress code.
