New bin day
From 6 June 2011, Derby City Council are introducing changes to your collection service for household waste and recycling. Waste and recycling will now be collected between Tuesday and Friday each week, (there will not be a collection on a Monday). You will need to leave your bin or bags out until 4pm on your collection day. The new collection times are from 6.30am to 4pm.
If you are worried that your bin or bag has been missed, please leave the bin or bag out and the collectors will return within two working days.
To find out your new bin day, you can go to www.derby.gov.uk/binday and use the ‘look-up tool’ to find out your bin day and download a collection calendar. Or you can contact Streetpride.
