Renting a garage
Did you know that most insurance companies give discounts for vehicles kept in garages overnight? Derby Homes has several garages available for rent in most areas of the city.
Weekly rents are currently:
- £7.93 for council tenants
- £9.51 for private tenants
The garages are available for parking private vehicles only. You can’t park commercial vehicles, or use them as a store, warehouse, or workshop – please contact us for full conditions of tenancy.
If you’re interested in renting a garage from us, or you know of someone else who might be, speak to a member of staff at your nearest housing office, or call our Enquiry Centre on 01332 711000.
Remember, you don’t have to be a Derby Homes tenant or leaseholder to rent a garage from us.
