Funding for your projects

Derby Homes recognises that it cannot achieve its aims alone. We want to work in partnership with other agencies to improve its services and the quality of life on its estates.

However Derby Homes faces financial constraints over the next 3 years as it reduces its costs by £1.2m a year. We are reducing our staffing by 40 posts. As a result we have limited capacity to provide grants to support community and other groups activities.

However we will continue to support residents groups start up and stay active on our estates, and our 5 Housing Focus Groups have a small pot of funds to spend on improvements in their areas, with a maximum grant of £500 per group or activity. We are always interested in working in partnership, and can consider shared use of our community rooms for activities that are of benefit to tenants and their families. Staff away days are a feature of our work and we welcome suggestions for team activities that could help your organisation and that could be carried out in a half day and which could benefit the communities in which we work.
