At their Annual General Meeting on Thursday 30 October the Board of Derby Homes formally confirmed that Ken Whitehead has be re-elected as a tenant board member.  The Board also welcomed two new independent members – Alison Brown and Mike Finister Smith. 

Appointments to Derby Homes Board

At their Annual General Meeting on Thursday 30 October the Board of Derby Homes formally confirmed that Ken Whitehead has be re-elected as a tenant board member.  Mr Whitehead was elected onto the Board by Derby Homes tenants living in the South East area of the city.

The Board also welcomed two new independent members – Alison Brown and Mike Finister Smith. 

Dennis Rees, Chair of Derby Homes said: "On behalf of the Board, I’d like to offer my congratulations to Ken and commiserations to those who put themselves up for election but didn’t win. I hope they will consider standing again in the future. I’d also like to extend a warm welcome to our new Board Members, Alison and Mike."

Ken Whitehead commented: “I’m very pleased to have been elected again as a Tenant Board member.  I will continue to use the knowledge and experience I gained during my working career and through voluntary work, to improve services for tenants of Derby Homes.”
