Help with language barriers
We have a number of initiatives to help customers for who have literacy problems or for whom English isn't their first language.
Dictaphones
We can offer Dictaphone recording machines for customers who have difficulties with literacy, or whose first language isn't English. The Dictaphones allow the complainant or victim to record anti social behaviour incidents verbally. Where the recordings are made in a lanugage other than English, Derby Homes will arrange for the tape to be translated into English.
