Derbyshire Constabulary

The Constabulary is a key partner on the CSP.  At local level, staff of Derby Homes and local beat officers have a close working relationship.  The police share two of our local offices.  Regular meetings are held with senior managers of Derby Homes and police to review local issues of concern .


Derbyshire Constabulary serves a region of over 1,000 square miles, with a population approaching 1 million. The county of Derbyshire is renowned for being hugely diverse. It encompasses the rural areas of the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales, for example, as well as old mining communities, modern towns and business centres. It is also home to the vibrant and culturally diverse city of Derby.
