Annual Tenants Conference 2004

The 11th Annual Tenants Conference took place on September 22nd at the Riverside Centre in Pride Park. This was a well organised event and we received a lot of compliments on our professionalism on the day - this makes us very proud. We have put a few of the photos of the day here to give you an idea of the activities that took place.



At the beginning of the event, the DACP officers, Resource Centre Manager, Local Housing Office Staff, together with the Deputy Mayor of Derby, Councillor Roy Webb, stood together for the 'official' photo.



Dr Tom Manion giving a brilliant presentation explaining the benefits of the introduction of the 'Gold Service Standards' with Irwell Valley Tenants. It was a very inspirational speech and we will definitely want to invite Tom back to a future event.



Dennis Rees gave a presentation of the accounts of the DACP during the AGM part of the proceeding, but ended up looking like a major figurehead with his arm up like this!



This picture shows majority of the delegates there on the day. We were very pleased that over 150 delegates turned up and enjoyed the day with us. This was one of our most successful turnouts yet and over 50% of those attending completed feedback forms, giving us plenty of positive feedback.
