About DACP
What is the DACP & DTRC?
The Derby Association of Community Partners (DACP) is an umbrella organisation which represents the 15 Community Panels in Derby.
The Panels are groups of Tenants, Leaseholders and local residents who actively participate in the delivery of the City Council and Derby Homes’ Housing Services.
Other groups which support the aims of the DACP can become members, such as the Leaseholders Association.
Each of the 15 Panels across the City and other member groups can elect three people to represent them at the DACP, although at least two must be Derby Homes tenants.
How does the DACP Work?
The DACP elects a Management Committee to run the Organisation.
An Open Meeting is arranged every month for all members to attend.
A Newsletter, the Derby TRAIN, is produced 4 times per year and delivered to ALL tenants twice a year.
The DACP write a column in every edition of the Derby Homes News, the Derby Homes tenants newsletter.
The DACP Management Committee meets with the Director of Derby Homes and other senior officers who have responsibility for housing, ten times a year within the City Housing
Consultation Group.
