Vinshire Plumbing and Heating Ltd

Vinshire Plumbing and Heating Ltd was formed in 1989 and for the last five years has been responsible for carrying out the annual gas safety, service and maintenance contract for Derby Homes.

During the past three and a half years we have installed in excess of 5,000 new heating systems.  Over 1,000 have been fitted since January 2004 as part of the Homes Pride - Warmer Homes Project.

Due to the increase in work carried out on behalf of Derby City Council/Derby Homes over the last five years, our local staffing levels have increased from 15 to over 80 employees. Forty of these staff work directly on the Homes Pride - Warmer Homes Project.  We have also taken the opportunity to recruit a further six trainee gas engineers.

By working in partnership with Derby Homes, as well as our other partners, we have minimised the disruption to our customers while ensuring the highest possible standard of workmanship, quality control, supervision and customer care.  We have achieved a high satisfaction rating with our customers and continue to maintain the high standards required by Derby Homes.

Our future aspirations are to improve the service that we provide while continuing to ensure best value for money on the works we carry out.
