Capital Environmental Improvements

Capital environmental work involves fencing, lighting, landscaping, tree-work, parking and drying area improvements as well as improvements to pathways. Estates Pride has identified capital environmental works in the Stockbrook Street area where work is currently underway, and the Regeneration Team will shortly be working to identify improvements to be carried out in other Derby Homes estates over the next 4 years. We will work with the Parks department to joint fund new projects, when improvements to open spaces are planned.

Look out in the next Derby Homes News for an opportunity to make suggestions for future work which needs doing in your area. We will be working closely with Community Panels, Ward Councillors, Local Housing Office staff, and other partners and residents, to draw up plans for environmental improvements in each area. These plans will then be considered by Local Housing Boards North and South.
