This policy applies to all Derby Homes' employees. It explains the meaning of religion or belief with reference to the regulation. The policy defines:
• direct discrimination • indirect discrimination • genuine occupational requirement• harassment• victimisation.
The policy also gives advice on:
• religious observance in the workplace• the implication of religion and belief on recruitment and promotion• the implication of religion and belief for training• religious belief and food• time off for religious festivals• time off for religious observance• dress code.
