Tenant Involvement 

Introduction

The Tenant Involvement Agreement was negotiated in 2004 by a group of tenants with Derby City Council, your landlord and Derby Homes, the company that manages your homes.

The Agreement states that Derby City Council, and Derby Homes fully recognise tenants and leaseholders rights to influence the housing service by:

• helping Derby Homes to monitor and improve existing services
• working with Derby Homes to create new services.

Derby City Council and Derby Homes have agreed to the following standards for information we give to you about our services. This information will be:

• honest and accurate
• complete and up to date
• easy to understand and uncomplicated
• timely – so that you have time to think about it
• available in a range of different formats and languages so that everyone has access to the same level of information.
