About 18 months ago, I was nominated the Principal Officer to oversee the grounds maintenance contract and service. This role is only part of my duties. If I am honest, it's the most taxing, but I do enjoy it.
I believe that over recent months there has been an improvement to the service but there's still a long way to go. You may remember a satisfaction survey we sent out with Derby Homes News last year? I've had the chance to look at all the replies and here are some of the findings.
- 61% were satisfied with the standard of grass cutting
- 74% thought the frequency of the cut was just right
- 42% were satisfied with the standard of bush/rose bed pruning.
Unfortunately 44% were unsatisfied with the standard of bush/rose bed pruning, which is something I need to look at.
