Derby Homes Staff, Councillors are partners will be taking part in a joint celebration of the Hindu festival of Diwali and the Islamic holy day of Eid ul Fitr.

Some of the events on offer at Cardinal Square include:

•     A fusion of Asian foods for you to try
•     Presentations on Eid and Diwali
•     The chance to try on a sari
•     Dress down day
•     Henna Tattooist
•     Raffle prizes
•     Asian sweets.

The Mayor of Derby will open the festivities at 12pm on Friday 3rd November. They will last until 2pm.  Staff will be making donations to join in the festivities with all proceeds going to our local charity. 

So come on staff try something new and join in the fun.
