We are pleased to tell you that the Derby Ethnic Communities Housing Advisory Panel – DECHA has reformed. 

We have recently made a number of commitments to Equality and Diversity at Derby Homes – this has been demonstrated by:

• signing our Equality and Diversity   Charter
• committing to Derby City    Council’s BME Housing Strategy. 
One of the roles of DECHA is to monitor that we are living up to our charter.  The group will also work to influence changes to better meet the housing needs of minority ethnic tenants.

DECHA meetings are attended and supported by Mark Crown, Tenant Participation Officer and our Equalities Officer.
