Derby Homes Annual Reports released.
The past year has been like a roller coaster ride - we have continued with our Homes Pride Programme and we will be one of the first ALMOs in the country to meet the decent homes target. However, once we reach this target we are not going to rest on our laurels – we are now consulting with tenants and Derby City Council on what would make a difference to their estates. The sky’s the limit – we need to know what tenants and leaseholders want to see where they live, nothing has been ruled in or out – it’s local residents’ ideas that count.I would like to thank every member of staff from Derby Homes for their hard work. Tenants usually only get to meet the frontline staff, but there are a lot of employees who put in a tremendous amount of hard work behind the scenes on behalf of tenants so well done. We want to make Derby the place where everyone is proud to live and we can achieve this with the help of tenants and our partners, Derby City Council. We are well on the way to making Derby Homes the best ALMO in the country. Number one – that’s what we want to be!RegardsDennis ReesChair of Derby Homes Board
