Calendar Competition Winner announced!

Megan Rees from Shelton Junior School, has won Derby Homes’ 2006 Calendar Competition, receiving a £50 gift voucher and £250 for her school.

Every year we produce an Annual Report for all of our tenants and leaseholders in the form of a Calendar.
 
For the 2006 Calendar we contacted local youngsters to help with the design.  We asked entrants to come up with a design based around the subject of:

'What Derby means to me…'

All young people between the ages of 4 and 14 living in Derby were eligible to enter.  There were three age categories and 12 winners who each received a £25 gift voucher.  Megan was chosen as the overall winner - her drawing has been chosen as the front cover of the calendar and included a number of recognisable Derby images including the Ram, Derby Cathedral and Markeaton Park.

All tenants and leaseholders will be receiving their calendar over the next few weeks.
