We officially celebrated our fifth birthday and signed a new five year contract with Derby City Council at an event opened by the Mayor of Derby, Councillor Pauline Latham OBE on Thursday 5 July.

Tenants, Board members, staff and partners attended the celebrations and heard speeches from Phil Davies, our Chief Executive and Dennis Rees, our Chair.  During the evening, Amar Nath, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Cohesion and Housing Strategy, Evonne Williams, Cabinet Member for Housing Management and Dennis Rees formally signed the management agreement for 2007-12.

Derby Homes became one of the first Arms Length Management Organisations in the country in April 2002 and later that year we went on to achieve the highest accolade of three stars from the Audit Commission.  This was retained in 2006, confirming that we continue to provide an excellent service to customers.
