Customer Service Excellence

Customer Service Excellence, previously known as Charter Mark is the Government’s National Standard for organisations delivering excellent public services.

The Customer Service Excellence standard aims to make a real difference to public service users by encouraging organisations to focus on individual needs and preferences of customers.

Derby Homes have held the prestigious Charter Mark title since 2002. 
Customer Service Excellence is a vital tool in the way Derby Homes’ works towards continuous improvement and reflects that we deliver excellent services to our customers.  Organisations that meet the Customer Service Excellence standard are more likely to listen to their customers, perform better than average, have more satisfied users and use resources wisely.

Derby Homes were last inspected in February 2007 and successfully retained the Charter Mark standard. We will be assessed against the new Customer Service Excellence standards in July 2009.
